Preparation:
Before class print out a copy of the handout for each child.
What you will do:
First give each child a copy of the handout,
and follow the instructions at the top of the page. After everyone has
had a chance to make their guesses and write down their answers, go over
each picture and let the children know which ones they knew and which
ones they missed. The child with the most correct answers may receive a small reward.

What you will say:
In everyday life, God, through the bible, tells us how to behave. We should
never take God's commandments lightly, so it is important to know what they
are. God gave us the Ten Commandments to help us understand how we should
act towards Him and one another. Breaking some of the commandments is punishable
by law, and some are not such as misusing the name of the Lord. You will
not go to jail for that, but breaking any of God's commandments carries
spiritual consequences, such as an unhappy life, or even life without God.
The Bible says, "Be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded
you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in all the way
that the Lord your God has commanded you. So that you may live and prosper
and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. (Deuteronomy 5:
32, 33).
