DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

PREPARATION:

Print one handout for each child. Place a handout and pencil/crayons at each child’s place.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As the children arrive, ask them to complete the handout.

Application:
A “refuge” is something that provides safety. What do the following objects protect us from?

Umbrella: rain, snow, hail, etc.
Tent: bad weather, cold/heat, animals, etc.
Bible: evil, sin, corruption, etc.
Tree: sunlight, heat, firewood, building materials, etc.

Psalm 91 tells us that God is our ultimate refuge, He perfectly provides safety for His children.
