PREPARATION:
Print a few handouts for the children to use (if desired) and cut out the words. Set the paper, words from the handout, and markers on a table. Use a marker to write “HOPE” in the middle of the poster board. Then display the poster board near the table.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As the children arrive, ask them to either color a few of the printed words or create their own words that remind them of “HOPE.” Then the words will be taped on the poster board (overlapping if possible) as a display of the hope God has given us.
Application:
We have hope because Jesus died for our sins! Without His sacrifice, there would be no way for us to be reconciled to God.
