God's Protection

MATERIALS:

Activity Page [PDF] Click here
Scissors, tape
Crayons/markers
12" dowel rods (or straws)
Other various craft supplies: stickers, ribbon, stamps, etc.

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

PREPARATION:

Print one handout for every child. Cut out the pennant flags and place one flag at each child’s place. Disperse the craft supplies among the seats.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Ask the children to color and decorate their flags. Then help them tape their flags to dowel rods and allow them to practice waving their flags.

Application:
A fortress protects people from harm, and fortresses often have flags. We made these flags to remember that God is our Protector! When we serve, love, and obey Him, then the Bible promises He will be our Mighty Fortress of protection from sin and evil. Wave your flags as reminders that God gives us His protection.
