PREPARATION:
Print the handout on card stock paper. Set a handout, crayons/markers, and scissors at each child’s place.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Explain to the class that they will make a craft to remember the “Roman’s Road” verses to salvation. First the children will color and cut out the signs. Then help each child glue or tape each piece to a craft stick to finish the signs.
Application:
Hold up each sign as I talk about what it means:
Stop: First, we must stop and admit that we are sinners. (Romans 3:10, 23)
Yield: Then we need to yield to Jesus and accept His sacrifice for our sins. (Romans 5:8)
Wrong Way: Sin is the wrong way, but God gives us eternal life through Jesus. (Romans. 6:23)
One Way: Believing in Jesus is the only way to be saved from our sins. (Romans 10:9)
Speed Limit: We can move forward in faith without fear of sin or death! (Romans 8:1)
Place your Roman’s Road signs inside a plastic baggy and take them home. Use them this week to tell someone you know about salvation!
