Lesson 1 - Purity

Children will be challenged to be pure in every area of their lives. They will understand that they can only be pure by being in the Bible and reading His Word daily. Memory Work - Psalm 119:9; Scripture Reading and Discussion - Psalm 119:1-6.

Application: The only way to remain pure, especially today, is to spend time in His Word. The only way to weed out all the impurities that fill our hearts every day is to spend time reading God’s Word… daily! It is important for us to have pure hearts and to “keep them from being polluted by the world” and you need to do whatever it takes, no matter how difficult, to stay pure. Don’t forget to read your Bibles this week!

Lesson 2 - Wisdom

Children will be challenged to choose to seek God’s wisdom. They will realize that it will not be easy to become wise but well worth it. Memory Work - Proverbs 2:6; Scripture Reading and Discussion - Proverbs 2:1-6.

Application: It is important to seek wisdom. Although gaining wisdom can be a difficult process, the benefits are well worth it. And, remember, it is important to know that all wisdom comes from God.

Lesson 3 - Honesty

Children learn that practicing honesty is an important step towards developing Godly Character that will be carried on to adulthood. Memory Work - Proverbs 12:17; Scripture Reading and Discussion - Leviticus 19:35-36, Exodus 23:7; Proverbs 12:17; 16:11, 13; 24:26.

Application: In the Bible, God gave commandments about being truthful and honest in our daily living. He also gave a warning to people who are unjust towards honest people. Honesty in our life, whether in words, thoughts, or deeds will be rewarded, not only by God but also by those who are around us. Being honest builds a strong foundation for Christian Living. Honesty should be our way of life. The Bible says, "Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace." Psalm 37:37 NLT.
