There was a little squirrel,
Playing in the trees;
Watching all the pretty leaves,

When suddenly a man,
Gave the little squirrel a glance.
He was riding on a donkey,
So the squirrel had to dance.

He went up and down,
round and round,
Twisted, jumped and twirled;
He leaned to the left,
And leaned to the right.
