As the children arrive let them play with modeling
clay, ask them to create their favorite animal. If time permits allow
them to share their creations with the class. |

"In the
beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1
Explain to the children that God created the earth, the sky and outer
space. God loves us so much that He created this beautiful world for
us to live in.

| BIBLE STORY ( 15
minutes ) |
Use the Creation Blocks to assist you in telling the
creation story, but be sure to inform the children that they can have
their parents read the creation story to them right out of the Bible.
Teachers, you will be using the creation blocks again during "Fun
Time", so keep the blocks handy.
Listen carefully as I tell you the wonderful story about how God created
the heavens and the earth. When I'm done I will ask you some very
interesting questions.

Start by praying to God and thanking Him for creating
such a beautiful world for us to live in. Thank God for all the plants
He created that produce fruits and vegetables. Let the children enjoy
a snack of fresh fruit.

Have the children take turns putting the
creation blocks in the correct order, based on today's Bible story.
