Will Do: Take a small carpet sample or a plain solid colored welcome mat, write in permanent marker or paint the words MY PRAYER MAT. Then let the kids decorate with paint, markers, hand prints, flowers, etc. Teachers should assist children with both paint and markers. The kids can place the mat beside their bed at home to kneel on and to remind them to pray. (Praises from parents say the kids enjoy using the mats.) |
