A wonderful craft that the kids will remember for a lifetime

Materials: Small carpet sample or plain solid colored welcome mat Permanent Markers Duration: Approximately 20 minutes			Topics: Prayer Target Age: Preschool to Grade 1

What You Will Do: Take a small carpet sample or a plain solid colored welcome mat, write in permanent marker or paint the words MY PRAYER MAT. Then let the kids decorate with paint or markers (with help) their handprints, flowers, etc. The kids can place the mat beside their bed at home to kneel on and to remind them to pray. Praises from parents say the kids enjoy using the mats.
