  Topics:
Puppets, Story Telling, Just For Fun

Target Age:
Preschool to Grade 1

Preparation:
Before class, make a stage from a paper bag by cutting out a square section near the top to provide an opening. Repeat this process so each child can have his or her own finger puppet stage.

What you will do:
Give each of the children one of the paper bags. The children will use the markers and crayons to decorate around the stage opening.

What you will say:

As the kids work on their projects tell them that they can use the finger puppet stages to reenact today's Bible story they can put on puppet shows for their moms and dads or brothers and sisters. If time permits you can have the children create finger puppets by cutting the fingers off old gloves, make sock puppets or you can create colorful and useful stick puppets Click here.
