What we learned:
Today, we learned the importance of being
on guard spiritually and to use all the resources that God gives us.
We discovered why we need spiritual armor and God's protection. We
learned that we should be prepared to run to the battle and not be
afraid. God has already given us the victory. (Scripture used: Ephesians 6:10-18) |

Memory Verse:
"Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand
against the devil's schemes." Ephesians 6:11 NIV
Practice this verse several times with your child during the week. This will not only help him or her remember the verse, but it will also help to reinforce what he or she learned during class. |

Suggested Parent/Child Activity:
Each morning practice putting on the spiritual
armor together. Discuss how each piece of armor will help us make
a strong stand against the devil. Help your child understand that
we are in a spiritual battle, and that we need to use the tools and
weapons God provides. If not, we will become weak and easily defeated. |

Daily Prayer:
Dear Lord, please give us the wisdom to
see the need to put on the full armor of God each and every day. Please
give us strength and courage to fight a good fight and help others
come to know You as Lord and Savior. Thank You for providing the tools
and resources we need to live godly lives. Amen. |
