What we learned:
Today, in our final lesson on the parable
of the sower, we learned that those who hear the Good News and take
it to heart can accept the free gift of salvation from Jesus Christ.
We should live a productive life for our Lord. Please note that we
can not work our way into heaven, but if Jesus is the Lord of our
lives we will want to live for Him. We will follow His rules and tell
other people about Him. We won't be prefect and we will still make
mistakes, but we will try our best to live a life that is pleasing
to God.

Suggested Parent/Child Activity:
After it gets dark, have the family sit
around the dinner table. Place a single candle in the center of the
table. Turn of all of the lights in the house and make it as dark
as possible. Explain that darkness is all around us. Light the candle
and explain how just a little light from the candle can chase away
the darkness. Explain how the same thing is true with people's spiritual
lives; God's light chases away the darkness of sin. As Christians
we should share the light of God's good news with those around us. |

Daily Prayer:
Dear Lord, we know that we are fair from
prefect, help us lead a life that is pleasing to you. Let us keep
Jesus before us, as the prefect example of how we are to live. Give
us the courage, strength and opportunity to share the good news of
salvation with those around us. |
