| LESSON OBJECTIVES |
This five lesson series is designed specifically for those students
who are of an accountable age and are inquiring about receiving Jesus
into their hearts, or beginning to ask questions about being baptized.
The goal of this series is to help these children realize that accepting
Jesus is something they need to do, and it is a decision they must
make on their own.
The series may be used for regular Sunday school; however, because
the message is targeted towards specific children, it is better suited
as additional study outside the Sunday morning classroom. You should
not use the lessons by themselves, only as a series. You may want
to offer the class one or more times a year so it will be available
to everyone at the right time. For example, you may want to schedule
one night a week for five weeks, or meet for five consecutive evenings.
The series presents five basic principles of salvation:
1.
Heaven is a free gift and cannot be earned
Lesson 1
2. Man is a sinner and cannot
save himself Lesson 2
3. God is just and must punish sin, but he is merciful
and does not want to punish us Lesson 3
4. Jesus Christ is God's answer to our sin Lesson
4
5. Faith is the Key to receiving the free gift of Salvation,
by Lesson 5
• Trusting in Christ
• Repentance
• Confession
• Baptism

| BULLETIN BOARD IDEAS |
The Salvation Railroad Click here
This bulletin board focuses on how we react to God's gift of Salvation.
First, by believing Jesus is who he says he is, and that we need him.
Next, by praying to ask Jesus to be the Lord of our life. Then by
repenting of our sins, confessing that Jesus is the Lord and Savior,
and finally baptism.
