(Either write on the white board or have a volunteer write them on the white board)

*Let the children come up with the words on their own.

 Above average  Honorable  Super
 Acceptable  Marvelous  Superb
 Desirable  Pleasing  Superior

Here is a dictionary definition of goodness: (Write on white board if there is enough room.)

1. Excellence
2. Morally good – “be good”
3. Benevolence – “being good to others”
4. That which is desirable

Ask: Which of these definitions do you think describes God? (Answer: mainly #1 & #4)
We are going to continue look at this during class so that we learn and know of God's true goodness.
