What Can I Hear?

An activity to show that we hear many things with our ears, but we can also hear the voice of God when we listen with our hearts.

What My Father Does

Jesus only did what he saw his Father doing. We should only do what Jesus would do. John 5:19

Why Do We Praise God?

God is awesome and worthy of our praise for many reasons. Kids can match these reasons with pictures of similar objects.

Worldliness or Godliness

Children will use current events to see the presence of worldliness and godliness in our daily lives.

Children make a paper crown that displays the characteristics of a Godly leader.

Children will memorize 1 John 5:7-8 and learn the meaning of God being three in one: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Lessons

ATTRIBUTES OF GOD

This lesson series teaches children about several attributes of God.

God is Holy

This lesson will identify God’s holiness as His most prevalent attribute. Children will learn that all of God’s additional attributes exist through and because of His holiness.

God is Jealous

This lesson will explain the difference between God’s jealousy and human jealousy. The children will understand why jealousy is one of God’s attributes and one of humanity’s defects.

God is Loving

This lesson will help children understand why God loves us and how He displays His love.

God is Merciful

This lesson will teach children about God’s mercy and why we should be merciful to others.

How Should We Pray?

This second lesson of a series of three will introduce children to the different ways in which we can pray.

In this three-week series, children learn how special they are because God created them in His image.
